The days of summer are winding down, which means two things around these parts: first, the temperature is finally starting to act like summer, and second, our fall ministries are ramping up. I am excited for what our church is offering this fall. It seems every year we add a little more ministry to reach the people God has given us. This year is no different. All of this is done so that you can become more like Jesus by learning and living the Word.
It all kicks off with the Women’s Refreshed on September 6th. All Ladies are invited to gather at Leslie Brown’s house for a time of fellowship. You’re welcome to bring your bathing suit to enjoy the pool. The event starts at 12 pm and costs $15. Register here. Our small groups are also starting up. We have something for everyone. You can check out the list here. We encourage everyone who calls Hope Chapel their home church to be a part of a small group
Our last Hope Sunday of the year is happening at the end of the month. It is a time we gather for BBQ and Baptism. Everyone is invited. All we ask is that you bring a side dish and dessert. We will provide the chicken and drinks. The best part of Hope Sunday is when people get baptized. We celebrate their public proclamation of their faith. If you would like to get baptized, you can sign up here.
Finally, we would like to invite you to our volunteer lunch on Sunday, September 14th. If you serve at Hope Chapel or would like to start, join us for lunch as we discuss vision and some changes ahead. It will take place following the 11:00 am service in the Youth Room.
